The Name Game

We thought we'd give an explanation for Meekin's name since there are so many questions surrounding it. Chris' family has land and a cabin in Hickory County (near Lake Pomme de Terre) that has been in the family since the mid 1800's. Chris and his family have wonderful memories of times spent at the cabin and those memories continue to be made with several gatherings held there each year. The original family owner of the cabin was Meekin Pitts, thus, the name Meekin. Jen's paternal grandfathers name was Robert.
