A Family Adventure

Meekin seems to be a pretty mellow kid so far - he appears to be in deep thought most of the time.

We decided to get him out of this rut he seems to be in and have an adventure. Our family went to a festival in Daddy's home town to watch a parade. My favorite parts of the parade were the the horses and fire trucks...

and the MOTORCYCLES!!!We were wondering where Gram and Pappy were and all of the sudden, there was Pappy! Then we saw Gram and her friend Wanda. They kidnapped me and I got to be a part of the parade!!
After the parade, everyone, including Nanny, went to the carnival!

Gram spent a good portion of her retirement savings to buy me tickets to all the good rides. First, there was the boats - these were my favorites!

Next, I rode the motorcycles. Look at me zoom!!

Then I rode a flying monkey with Gram!
Daddy and I took a spin on the Berry Go Round too! It was a giant spinning strawberry and Daddy and I made it turn around and around.

After that, Daddy and I rode the bumper cars where I'm certain whiplash occurred. Daddy is not much of a driver anyway, but when he has permission to be crazy, watch out!!!
