A Day in Old San Juan

We quickly found Senor Frogs, a prominant tourist trap & restaurant. I chilled with Senor himself for a minute!
El Morro is a huge national park area, the stronghold of the fort.




What a beautiful final resting place!
Just like one of my favorite books, I was Llama Llama shopping with Mama! Old San Juan is definately a shop o rama!
During our day, I consumed tres helados, or three ice creams! Here, Daddy's helping me with my second... a rainbow of coconut, passionfruit and mango flavors!
Daddy and I checked out a space in the 3.4 mile wall that surrounds the city.
We had a wonderful time at Parque de las Palmomas (Bird Park, roughly translated) several times during our day in Old San Juan. Feeding the birds was very fun and really gave us a lot of laughs. From the initial landing on Daddy's head, which really startled him, to letting them eat out of our hands while others were on our head and shoulders... What fun!!














Mom loved all the architecture and statues!!








"Hard Work Conquers All"
At the end of a long day walking around, Mama and Daddy decided to get leg massages at a fancy salon across the street from the birds! They loved it!

Beach Fun, Week 1

My new love is surfing and Daddy has been a good coach!
Here I go!
All that surfing wears a boy out! Our view of Monkey Island from our beach.
Now here's a sign we don't see every day!
This picture was taken at the Palmas del Mar resort. The sign on this tree reads, "Impelled on top of this tree is a beach chair that was placed there by the fury of Hurricaine Georges (cat. 3)on the evening of September 21, 1998. This is a reminder of what mother nature can do at her worst." Boy, I'll say! Chairs sure don't belong in trees!

Naguabo, PR

Naguabo turned out to be a great home for us for the month. Good restaurants, beaches and people made our adventure even better! The view from the top of the hill.
Why did the lizard cross the road? I don't know, but these guys are everywhere!

The view from Mama's seat... Daddy's fish. She doesn't like the way he's looking at her. Daddy took care of that by eating the fish's eyeball. There's not much more to say than ick!
I was really well behaved while we were waiting for our food. I ripped small pieces of napkins and made an octopus!
Full bellies make happy boys!


Nanny helped me make a mustache to kill time while we were waiting for our food at Griselle's Seafood.
I look good!
Momma and Daddy even got away for a date night at Griselle's!
