Did you get a hair cut?

No, I got 'em all cut! Well, not all of them, but the scraggly ones had to go! I'm going to meet my new friend Mia soon, so I need to look good! I sat very still and was so patient while Mom worked her magic on me. I was a great helper and held the comb.

It's Apple Pickin' Time!

Today, Mom and I went to the Alldredge Apple Orchard (www.theappleman.org) with our friends from Metro Moms. We had a great time!

Mom fed the chickens out of her hands and I just stared in amazement. Those little critters are wild. I think I prefer chickens on my plate...uh, with no feathers please.

After feeding the chickens, seeing kittens & goats, picking apples (and eating an entire one by myself) and going for a hayride, I took a little time out.

After resting for a few minutes, I decided to tune on this old tractor. I thought I might try to move it to the barn, but it was too heavy for me to push!

Fall is approaching!

What a beautiful morning it was! The field behind our house had lots of fog and it was very pretty! Cool too! I had to wear long pants - well, as long as they were last spring... We had to dig out bigger sizes for my long legs!

After playing on the tractor, Mom and I ran errands which meant no nap for me. Come lunch time, I was plumb tuckered!

It's Party Time!

My first birthday bash was a blast! I had lots of my family and friends surrounding me - we all know I love attention!
I wasn't sure what to think of everyone singing to me and the fire on my cake - Mom always told me fire is bad... I finally decided it was ok....

Until I wasn't sure what to do. I mean, this is my first birthday, no one gave me Cliff Notes or anything...everyone was staring at me and I wasn't sure about the sticky icing on the cake...I got upset for a minute but then I ate a little cake and decided it was ok.

I wasn't really into opening presents, I just wanted to play with the toys when Dad and Mom opened them for me. I got some really great treasures! Here's a fun Cars chair...does that mean I have to sit still??

Toys, boxes, they're all the same to me...I liked playing Jack in the Box!

My friend Aaron is watching me as I'm riding in a big dump truck. I think this truck was meant for me to push, but it's just my size, so I like to be pushed around in it!
At the end of the day, I found myself out of gas so Mums helped me push my car to Henry's Gas & Go.

We filled her up and I was ready to roll again. I think by the time my second birthday rolls around, I'll be ready to chow on lots of cake and open my own presents!

Happy Birthday to ME!

Here is little ol' me just one year ago! I've grown a lot! In this picture, I'm 7lbs., 12 oz and now I'm almost a whopping 20 pounds! I've also gotten a lot taller! I'm still a pretty handsome devil though!
I am not really big on opening presents yet. Mom and Dad gave me a few this morning and it was ok, but not too exciting. Here is a new John Deere plate...I like that because that means I get to eat! Anything that involves a calorie, I'm there!

Dad brought me a present this afternoon...another set of wheels! Everyone is asking when I'm going to walk... Why would I walk!? I've got lots of other transportation, so there's really no need.

What a great birthday! I am very blessed to have so many wonderful people in my life! Thank you all!

Henry, Come On Down!

You've won a brand new car! WHAT?! ME?! A new car?
Ok, so I haven't been on the Price is Right lately, but I did get an early birthday present from Nana. I LOVE my new car, even if it didn't come from Bob Barker or that Drew guy!
Speaking of wheels, my friend Katrina and I got to take a ride in my wagon, courtesy of her big brother DeShawn.
I think we wore him out. Our 'driver' just quit, leaving us stranded! We sure had fun while it lasted!

Fifty eight thousand nine hundred and seventy three...

Fifty eight thousand nine hundred and seventy four, fifty eight thousand nine hundred and seventy five... Whew! We've got about 60,000 bees in our hive! It's really hard work counting and keeping track of them all! We've been getting lots of honey from those little hard workers!

When it's really hot inside the hive, lots of the bees come outside to get some fresh, cooler air.

There was an afternoon last week when it was so nice and cool, Daddy got home early and played outside with me for a little while. We love swinging and playing by our big oak tree!

Mom and I made a quick trip to Carthage last week and while we were there, Uncle Bren taught me to play his guitar! I'm becoming quite talented, musically. My favorite thing to do is drum - I love to bang on anything I can get my hands on!
