Mom and Dad spend a little time in Gruene, Texas and loved it! We stayed with Gram and Pappy, which was much more our speed. Restaurants, dance halls, antiques and shopping aren't really for us! They visited Gruene Hall and spent the evening there listening to a band. Gruene Hall is the oldest dance hall in Texas and is where lots of country stars got their start.
The Guadalupe River - famous in those parts for tubing in the summer.
Back at the campground, it was a beautiful day. We went for a little hike and played with the dogs.
It was very windy, so a few sailboats were out enjoying the day.
Three generations of Becker men skipping rocks and digging in the mud.
Meekin decided he likes to make funny faces all the time now. Anything to get attention!
More deer! These were right by the camper.
This buck saw us feeding a bunch of does and decided he needed to be a part of it all too.
They would get within about 5 feet of us when we were feeding them.
Across the road from the camper was a big field. We saw 26 there at one time!
This is the life for us!
