Mom went against every bit of her being and decided to join our friends at the very commercial Carolyn's Pumpkin Patch. We'd been briefly when I was just one year old and it was just too crowded for the likes of us. Our brilliant friend Hadley informed us that it's free and not crowded in the afternoons during the week. Boy was she right! We love free and no crowds! We had a blast with the Pyles and the Barkers that day!
