A Quick Trip

We decided to take advantage of a couple of good weather days and head south with Gram and Pappy.  We spent a couple hours on the lake and the spent a day at Silver Dollar City.  Meekin's also had his first Ski Bob ride with PoPo, who joined us for a couple hours, behind the new boat. 
Mom loves SDC this time of year - Harvest Fest is great!  She was loving this lady who knits, weaves and does it all from 'Sheep to Shawl'.  What fun!  Mom has a few new crafts to get started on!

Meeks is still a little too short for most rides, so he hung out with the frogs!

Gram and Pappy rode this big beast - hard to see, but that's Pappy with his arms in the air!

He's a pretty good rider for being 61!  Did I mention it was his birthday?

A little cardiac rehab for Pappy.  Walking up the hill with me on his shoulders couldn't have been easy!

We had tastes of yummy fresh apple butter and watched this man making it! 

A tour of Marvel Cave was a little noisy...Meekin didn't want to be there! 

 He was only happy and quiet if he was playing with Dad's phone!

 We love watching the colored lights on the waterfall! 

 

 

 Home again!  Told you it was a quick trip.  Meekin's been working hard on potty training and doing pretty well.  He decided he wanted to wear big boy underwear today.  Then, he escaped into the garage on his four wheeler.  He thought he was big stuff! 

 At nap time, Mom couldn't find his sucky.  He threw a little bit of a fit and then passed out.  Losing the sucky and potty training at the same time?  I think we all might be losing our minds!
