Today is Meekins 2nd Birthday and boy, did we have a big day of it! After church, we headed to the zoo to see the newest member, Nikita the polar bear! She was very cool and I can see us spending a lot of time checking her out after the new wears off and the crowds are a little less!
We also rode the carousel with Daddy!
Then we headed in to feed the lorikeets. Mom's apologies for the fence in the photos...she's not too into birds!

Then Mommy rode the camel with us! A ride on a camel sure is a bumpy one!

Back at home and after a nap, it was Meekin's turn to open some presents! First up, was the present I got him. He was unsure of what to do with it, so I helped him out.

Meekin also got a little dry erase board for the car. I drew a face on it!
Nanny,Gram, Pappy, Allison and Jason came for dinner and more importantly, cake!
Meekin was getting good at singing, 'Happy Birthday' to himself!
Zoo, slinky, cake, ice cream...what more can a boy want?
A bubble mower!! Now our day is complete!
