A Family Easter Celebration

We headed to Carthage for to celebrate Easter and since we were that close to Bentonville, I decided to channel my inner Sam Walton.  Check out my getup!  I picked it all myself and was very proud.  Mom did make me take off my hat for church, but I'm pretty sure I still looked good in plaid, diagonal stripes and vertical stripes!
I know PoPo had just gotten out of bed when we were leaving for church, but there is seriously something wrong with his get up.  He needs to start taking fashion lessons from me!
A family shot.
After Mass, we headed to Aunt Jan's for a feast and some hunting - of the egg sort, that is.  The plastic bags were handed out and we were ready to roll!
We're still waiting.....these grown ups don't realize that a minute to a little kid is a loooong time!
My Megan and her Max.
Finally!  The hunt was on and I got a little help from Pat.

Lily, Jax and Patty
Meekin got help from Nanny.  Once he figured out there was candy in some of the eggs, he wasn't interested in going any further until he chowed!
Not only were the eggs stuffed with candy, but they were also stuffed with numbers that we matched with lots of prizes!  I even got a bug net and captured my favorite cousin!
Eyes closed or not, Great Henry and Great Niecy are a good looking pair!
What a great day of celebration with our family!
