Henry continues to crack us up...here's a few more examples.
Talking with Gram:
Henry: Mama blew the candles out because I wouldn't eat my dinner.
Gram: Why wouldn't you eat dinner? What were you supposed to be eating:
Henry: We had macaroni and mashed potatoes (no, we weren't having 2 starches, it was cut up butternut squash!) and chicken. I don't like chicken, so I wouldn't eat it.
Gram: But you need to eat your dinner.
Henry: I like what I like and I don't like what I don't like and I don't like meat!
When discussing a small leak in the toilet, Henry told me that he would 'help Daddy fix it because he doesn't know what he's doing'.
The shaving...(see earlier posts for photos of Henry getting a shave)
"I need Daddy to shave me so I look good!"
When getting ready to go to church with Nanny, we were discussing that he needed to get dressed, wash his face and comb his hair. 'I need to shave too'. Hopefully when he actually needs to shave, he'll be as concerned about his hygiene!
