Trunk or Treat Times Two

We celebrated Halloween sort of early this year. We had Trunk or Treat with our friends on the Wednesday morning before and then that evening, we had Trunk or Treat at church. It was a fun day!
We had the morning festivities at a park, thus lots of playing and candy! Meekin and I had an awesome time buzzing around the playground!



When it came time to get candy, we were pretty happy too. I showed Meekin how to do it and by the 2nd car, he was jumping in the candy bowls on his own!
That evening, Gram joined us at church, so the whole bee keeping crew was there!

I was a little afraid of the skeleton in the trunk, so another kiddo helped me out by getting my candy for me. Meekin wasn't afraid...he ripped the leg right off! EEK!

Mom was pretty proud that we only ended up with a small basket of candy and we've been good about not begging for it too much. A little treat here and there makes us happy!
