THOMAS THE TRAIN!!!!
Allison, Colson, Jane, Nanny, Mom and I drove a long way to Baldwin City, Kansas. Mom told me she had a surprise for me, but I couldn't figure out what it was. I was excited when we rode a school bus - just from the parking area to the depot. When we arrived and I saw Thomas, I was soooo excited!
We rode on a circa 1930's passenger train that was pulled by Thomas.
On our 25 minute 'ride to nowhere' we passed the Rock Island Rocket. What a cool old train!
At the end of our ride, we had our picture taken with the train of the hour.
Sir Topham Hatt also made an appearance.
There were a lot of activities at Day out with Thomas, including a great petting zoo. Nanny helped me feed the baby goats.
A red kangaroo was there...I think he was hot because he wasn't very social.
I had a stare down with a baby goat.
Even a camel was there! Not your typical petting zoo!
A zedonk??? Seriously!
I love fire trucks!
We wrapped up the day with a couple of slides on the big inflatables.
Poor baby Jane was pooped out - all of us were! I can't wait until we get to see Thomas again next year!!
