Zoo Days!

Last Saturday, the weather was so nice, Nanny, Mom, Meekin and I decided to head for the zoo! When I saw this snake tunnel, I was very excited because it reminded me of the speckled frog slide in Mexico!
First up, the birds!!! They were noisy - just like me!

Nanny helped me climb on the ropes like I was a monkey!

Mom and I headed down the slide because I was a little scared to go down the tunnel alone. Mom was too tall and we kept sliding sideways and getting stuck. It was very funny!

All aboard the choo choo train!!!

I think Meekin will like trains as much as I do!

The Africa portion of the zoo is closed for renovations, so this was the only elephant I got to see.I took a nap when we got home and then headed for the park for a little family outing. I love walking the nature trail and playing in the creek with Dad.

It was such a long and busy day, Meekin passed out in the jogger.

He woke up just in time to play on the playground. He had fun on the swings!
So did I!
Gram and Pappy came to visit for a bit when we got home, so we played on our swings too. Our friend Katrina joined us too!
We had so much fun outside, it made us wish summer was here. Hopefully it won't be too much longer and we can swing every day!
