Conversations with a 2 Year Old

Chris and I are increasingly proud of Henry's vocabulary, speech and conversation skills. It seems like he gets better every day and some days it's almost like talking to an adult. Part of that might be due to the fact that he's a bit sarcastic like his parents...

Setting for Conversation #1: Henry had already been put to bed and gotten up to use the potty once and requested another audience with the restroom. Reluctantly, I took him in there.
H: Mommy, I went pee!
J: You did? I don't think so...
H: I did! There's pee in there!
J: Nope, good try though.
H: I fibbing you!!!! (Followed by hysterical, loud, man laughter. He is his father's child)
Thus the beginning of the potty ploy to get out of bed. Gee, I was really looking forward to this stage.

Setting for Conversation #2: Henry was sitting on our bed and Chris burst into the room.
C: Who are you?!
H: I'm Henry Thomas Becker, Daddy's buddy!
This was followed by Chris laughing and then them discussing all the tools they would need to fix a rental house. They are two peas in a pod, I'm telling you!
