Lions and Tigers and Bears OH MY!!

Last week, we went to the circus with Aunt Joni, Uncle Jim and Cousin Jimmy. It was a first for Mom, Meekin and I so were excited! When we arrived, we saw lions and tigers and bears. I liked looking at them but I didn't like it when they got too close.

I decided that clown are in the same category...watching them from a distance is good enough.

Before the show started, we watched kids ride elephants. Earlier in the day, I told Mom I wanted to touch an elephant at the circus. The line was very long, so I didn't get to do it this time.

When the show finally got started, lots of girls in bright outfits came out and danced for a little bit.

Then, a guy on a motorcycle waaaaay up in the air started riding on a wire. There was a guy hanging below him too. They did all kinds of crazy tricks!

I had to look up high to see them!

When the tigers came out, they did crazy stuff too! Have you ever seen a tiger walk on a set of tight ropes?? He slipped once but didn't fall off.

The tigers also jumped through a fire hoop!

We also saw lots of acrobats. Mom wasn't too keen on those crazy people doing stunts like that. She said that if Meekin and I grew up to be circus acts, she'd be very upset and worried about us. Apparently, she's forgotten that she has her own three ring circus at home!
