After all that nasty, cold winter weather, spring has finally sprung! Mom and I have been getting outside a lot! The weather was even nice enough that I got to wear short pants for couple of days! I like the warm weather because when I don't wear shoes, it leaves my toes free to be chewed on! Nana Jo bought me a swing for the big oak tree and I have been in it almost every day! We also take walks through the park and around our yard. Sometimes, I get down to explore...I'm not sure about these pine needles - I think I'll study them for a bit.
I like to dig my heels into the grass and dirt. Mom thinks this is a sign I'll be a mud pie boy soon!
There have been a few days when it's been cool or rainy and we can't go out, but I'm still keeping up on my exercise. I still haven't quite mastered crawling yet, but I like to do push ups.
I also like to hang from arms like a monkey. The last time I went to the doctor, I did this to the nurse when she was listening to my heart - she cracked up! She acted like she'd never seen a monkey boy before. I guess she doesn't get out much.
Today was one of those cool, rainy days so Mom and I joined my friend Ainsley and her mom on an outing! We went to the North Kansas City Community Center where they have an indoor pool and water play area. It was so cool! It was my first time in a pool and I liked it a lot!
It was a little chillier than my bath water so it took some getting used to, but I liked it!
Ainsley found a yellow bumpy ball to play with and I got to play too. I liked splashing and kicking my feet in the bubble area - it was such a good time!
