Happy 4th of July!

We spent the week of the 4th at the lake again and this time, we struck water!  We successfully had a well drilled so we can have all the showers and baths we want! 

 Meekin was hot and sweaty just sitting in the shade and watching the guys work!

 After all that work, it was time for fun and fireworks!  We didn't get much, but we sure enjoyed what we had!

 Mostly, we just screamed, yelled and jumped around anytime Dad started anything.  The grown ups had a good time just watching us!

A Time to Celebrate!

Mom and Dad celebrated their 6th wedding anniversary in June.  They went to Branson for a couple of days without us and then they went to Carthage for our friend Katie's wedding.  Three kidless nights in one month!  

PoPo took these pictures and was ok with the sun being at his back, but didn't quite consider how bright it would be in their eyes!

Silly Sprinklers

We love to play in the sprinkler!  Most days, we just strip down to our underwear, turn on the water and go!  On this day, we decided to grab our underwater gear as well!

 Meekin didn't have any swim goggles so he made construction/safety goggles work for him!

Sometimes when we get wet, we just decide to strip down completely, as we did on this day with Jo and Preston! 

Lake Visitors

Mike, Stacie, Lily and Baby Joshua came to visit us at the lake for Father's Day weekend.  We rode the Thingamajigger and giggled so much our cheeks hurt!

We got Mike out there and Daddy really whipped us around.  I was the first to fall off and actually fell off twice and got run over by the tube each time.  I popped up both times and didn't cry.  Mom was proud of me for not getting upset. 

 Meekin and Joshua both fell asleep in the boat and had a nice nap while the rest of us swam and had lunch.

Happy (LATE!) Father's Day!

Ok, so we've been busy as usual and are behind but today is catch up day so watch out!

We were at the lake the week of Father's day (yes, in June...last month) and had a great time!  We gave Daddy a remote control boat to play with.  I had asked Santa for one for Christmas, but he didn't come through for me, so Daddy got the goods instead.  We had a ton of fun playing with it though!

We also had a lot of fun watching him play with it!

Max and Ruby's Bunny Party

We were given tickets for Max and Ruby this weekend and had a ton of fun!  We went to the Midland Theater and I loved it!  I thought it looked very pretty!

Here we are in the lobby, we've just found out who we're going to see and I am excited!  As you can tell, Meekin is the serious brother and I'm the very silly one!

A Maiden Voyage

Last week was a scorcher so we decided to hit Blue Springs Lake for the day.  We took our new tube (yet to be named) with us for it's maiden voyage.  It was lots of fun!!  Daddy, Meeks and I were the first to try it out.
